Staining Paint Test
It is your responsibility as a player to know the difference between staining and non-staining paintball fills. If you are not sure about your paint being non-staining, bring a few balls up to the Head of Staff. We will test it by rubbing the fill on our fingers and on a white towel. If the fill rinses off easily with water, it is OK to use. If the fill does not rinse off with just plain water, do not use it. Tournament Players if you are caught shooting paint that does not pass this simple staining test, your team will stop playing with them and be penalized as a sportsmanship issue. Open play players you will stop using them, clean up your mess, and or leave.
FIRST STRIKE CLARIFICATION:
THERE ARE SUBSTANTIAL ISSUES WITH THE FIRST STRIKE ROUNDS
FIRST- CONTRARY TO ADVERTIZED CLAIMS FIRST STRIKE ROUNDS TECHNICALLY DO NOT SATISFY THE ASTM STANDARD FOR A PAINTBALL- "A ROUND SPHERICAL BALL FILLED WITH PAINT..." THEY ARE HALF SPHERES WITH FINS. WE ARE A "PAINTBALL FIELD" ACCORDING TO ASTM AND INSURANCE STANDARDS.
SECONDLY- MAXIMUM FLIGHT OF A PAINTBALL IS 300 FT THUS THE ASTM STANDARDS OF A 300FT FREE CLEAR SPACE APPLIES. FIRST STRIKE ADVERTIZES 510FT MAXIMUM FLIGHT WHICH MAKES THEM A SUBSTANCIAL SAFETY RISK.
THIRDLY- THE SHELLS OF THE FIRST STRIKE ROUND ARE PHOTO-DEGRADABLE THEY ARE NOT BIODEGARADEABLE. PHOTO DEGRADEABLE MEANS THEY BRAKE DOWN AFTER TIME IN THE SUNLIGHT. WE PLAY IN THE WOODS- NO SUNLIGHT. LEAVES FALL ON THEM IN FALL NOW THEY ARE COVERED UP AND NEVER GET SUNLIGHT FOREVER TO CONTAMINATE THE EARTH.
ROUNDS ARE AN ENVIROMENTAL AND SAFETY PROBLEM AND ARE NOT ALLOWED ON OUR
Onsite sales of any kind is prohibited. We must report to the WI Department of Revenue.
